• Conference days approach. We will have 11:55 am dismissal on Thursday and Friday, March 12 and 13. If you want a conference with a teacher, reach out to schedule it.

PTO News.

• Bryant Scholastic Book Fair is March 10-13 during school and conference hours
•  All students will receive a coupon for $5 towards a book from the PTO. We are looking for parent volunteers to help our middle school students with the fair set up and manning. Please sign up at sign up genius Volunteer list
• NOTE: No entry to the bookfair until 3:15 on Tuesday and Wednesday and 12:00 on Thursday and Friday.
• 3/14 is PI Day. Come join us at the BNC (1619 6^th Ave) for fun, games, robots, Pizza and a Pi (cake) walk from 3-6 pm. Pie and dessert donations welcomed.
• Bryant at the Rainiers. Save the Date: May 27^th 
  • As the days get warmer and longer, we look forward to Baseball season and our annual Rainiers School night out. We get to walk the field with our mascot and enjoy a great game all for only the cost of $16 dollars for admission, hotdog, water and chips. For $26 dollars you get a souvenir hat too.
  • Once again, we would like to help some of our families who could not afford a night out at the stadium. Last year, we were able to help four families enjoy the game. A donation would help this year too. Order form

All TPS families are invited to participate in our annual set of College Tours for Families, March 11 – May 16.

Come explore future possibilities and gain firsthand insights into programs, resources and more.

Learn about advanced programs offered in our schools

TPS families and students are invited to attend a March 19 event to learn more about the advanced programs and pathways offered in Tacoma Public Schools, including International Baccalaureate, highly capable and AVID.

Families of students with IEP asked to complete survey

Families of students with an individualized education program (IEP) have received a communication from Tacoma Public Schools, asking them to complete a survey.

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) developed this survey and requires that school districts send it to their families every two years, starting this year. The goal of the survey is to better understand how schools support family involvement in special education.

The survey is anonymous. 

TPS is pleased to help OSPI share this survey so we can continue to improve our services for families and students. If your child has an IEP, please look for the survey sent to you via email or text.
