We hope that spring break has been rejuvenating for all. We are back at it tomorrow morning.

Calendar

• The Garden Faire is coming on Friday, May 1st from 3:30 - 5:30. Classrooms are organizing activities around caring for our earth through sustainable living. Join us in creating an elaborate cardboard castle, designing costumes for a parade of species, buying plants, busking on stage, swapping seeds, toys, and clothes, planting seeds to take home, get raffle tickets for amazing quilts and bowls made from campus trees, spin pottery on the wheel, visit classroom booths, and more.

• • We can use your help in making this event happen. Donate indoor and outdoor plant starts to the back of the school garden. Sign up to volunteer here.
  • Donations of gently used clothing (sizes birth-Middle School) and gently used children's toys, books, and puzzles can be donated to our sustainability clothing drive. Items can be given to your child's teacher April 13-29.

• Upper El Field Trip to Pantages is coming on Monday, April 20. Look for the permission forms this week. We will not accept the forms on the field trip day.

PTO News

• SOCK HOP. Join our Sock Hop: Friday, April 17^th from 6-7:30pm at the BNC.  Music from 9 decades.  Dress like your favorite music. Award for the Best Dressed and most creative.
• It’s PTO election time. April 17th at our general PTO meeting (and Sock Hop) 6 pm at the BNC.
