Here are the messages from Bryant for this week.

Garden Faire. 3:30 on Friday, May 1. We will clear the playground at 3:15 to make final preparations and then reopen the gate at 3:30 for the Garden Faire.

Spirit Days. Every Wednesday for the remainder of the year, we will hold a spirit day. Have a look if you want to help your child engage. See teachers for answers to questions. Bryant - Calendar for spirit days 2026.pdf 

Sound to Narrows Training. Mrs. Bedient will lead a training team for the Sound to Narrows race beginning in May.  Follow this link for details and info on how to join to the team.

Learn about advanced programs offered in our schools
TPS families and students are invited to attend an event to learn more about the advanced programs and pathways offered in Tacoma Public Schools, including International Baccalaureate, highly capable and AVID as a support for college and career readiness. All families are invited to join the event: 

• When: Wednesday, May 6, from 4:15-5:45 p.m.
• Where: Giaudrone Middle School, 4902 S. Alaska St., Tacoma

Application for TPS preschool now open; tuition-based TTK option starts in 2026-27

Families may now apply to enroll their child in a Tacoma Public Schools preschool program. 

Starting in the 2026-27 school year, Tacoma Public Schools will offer a tuition-based option for our Transition to Kindergarten (TTK) preschool classrooms. TTK serves students who turn four years old by Aug. 31.

Families whose household income is at 500% or below the Federal Poverty Level will be prioritized for free preschool. For families at or above 501%, tuition will be set at $1,450 per month for the 2026-27 school year.

Preschool families whose child has an IEP will not be charged tuition.
