Staff Changes. In addition to the changes that I detailed last week, …

• Ms. Kaitlyn Richardson will need considerable time to recover from the injuries she sustained in a tragic auto accident. Ms. Richardson is on the mend, but her full recovery will take time. Her class will be taught by a substitute teacher who has not yet been identified. Ms. Hidalgo and I will be available at Meet and Greet to answer any questions.
• Middle School fixture Ed Wilhelme is moving to Washington, DC. with his family. However, we have been very fortunate to hire Ms. Ashley Casey from Clover Park School District as Mr. Wilhelme’s replacement. Until Ms. Casey is released from her Clover Park contract, Mr. Wilhelme will continue to teach. You can connect with both teachers at Meet and Greet.

Beyond the Bell and Club B are back, and COMPASS is now open for families to preview this year's exciting club offerings! 
Beginning Monday, August 31^st, Bryant families can register children. There is usually lot of interest, so don’t delay.

Staying Healthy. This week’s district newsletter has information about how our Health Services team can partner with you to keep your child healthy. Need vaccines?

School Meals.  Breakfast and lunch are offered free for all students. Find the menu on our website or by downloading the MySchoolMenus app. Meals will start showing up in the menu soon. 

Update ParentVUE.  You can use ParentVUE to review and update forms needed for the start of school. Required information includes health history and contact information. Log into your account here.

Laptop Updates.  Please ensure your child's school laptop is updated, charged and ready to bring on the first day of school by plugging it in, connecting to Wi-Fi, and leaving it on overnight. New students will be provided with a laptop, a charging cord and help to set up their school account when school begins.

Middle School sports.  Bryant MS students can participate in after school sports at Hilltop Heritage. Learn more here and how to register.
